NIKE GOLF // THE ROYAL OPEN

.

GOLF SEASONAL PACK:

THE ROYAL OPEN

The Open Championship (the British Open) tournament dates back over 150 years and is the oldest tournament in golfing history. Like previous majors and tournaments, including the US Open, The Masters, and the PGA Championship. Nike Golf prepped a pack of sneakers to commemorate the upcoming event.

Included in this collection are the Nike Victory Tour 4, Air Zoom Infinity Tour 2, and Air Max 90 Golf. All three pairs feature a mixture of white, metallic gold, and sail, with the Victory Tour 4 coming primarily covered in white. Faux ostrich leather is used for the base of the performance golf shoe, while the added mudguard features a textured and spotted metallic gold pattern.

Swoosh logos rendered in dark grey on the midfoot dip into the mudguard, though a mini Swoosh is embroidered just above it in a tonal white hue. Sail details find a home on the lace set, tongue, and sockliner, with the tongue containing an ornate graphic pattern in gold. Golf logos on the tongue and insole feature a strikethrough, though the exact meaning behind this design detail and the added gold patterns have yet to be revealed. The Cushlon foam midsole finishes the design with a Flyplate for stability and a 2-pod TPU outsole with nine removable spikes.
